Owl Valley is located about 1 mile from Bideford, North Devon. Full of bird song, flowers and places to explore it is a peaceful and secluded glamping retreat set in a valley, away from the pressures of everyday life. It even has its own stream and a pond full ofwildlife. After moving to this tranquil, beautiful valley in 2015, owners Pauline and Ray decided they would like to share their valley with other like minded souls and 'Owl Valley glamping' was born.
Their aim is to provide a comfortable eco-glamping/camping experience. Where you are able to get back to nature and camp in comfort! Cooking on wood-fired pits with no 'mod cons', electricity or the internet, you really can kick back, recharge your batteries and Immerse yourself in the surroundings of nature.
Each tent has its own compost toilet and DIY eco shower. There are three bell tents called Barn owl, Tawny owl and Long eared owl, Tawny and Barn are approx 30 metres apart and Long eared stands alone. We also have Owlet Cabin standing at the top of the valley on a lovely sunny deck, off grid with it's own toilet and DIY eco shower, lit by fairy lights and candles with a log burning stove Owlet and the bell tents are a wonderful retreat into a quieter way of life. On a clear night the stars are breath-taking and with a soundtrack of owls hooting and the stream burbling away, you really do have the perfect backdrop to your stay. In a few days our magical valley will have you sleeping like an owlet and your worries a distant memory!
Owl Valley is a haven for wild animal/flower enthusiasts, twitchers and lepidopterists.
It is the perfect place to book for exclusive use. Groups will have fabulous time with the whole valley to themselves. It is an ideal venue for small bespoke weddings, birthday/anniversary celebrations or a unique event. Hen parties are welcome providing the whole site is booked ie 3 tents and the cabin Owlet (at our discretion). Family groups/friends looking to spend time together away from electronic distractions! are also warmly welcomed.
Pauline and Ray would love to welcome you to share their beautiful glamping retreat with them, and its many wild inhabitants.
Our Motto: Please enjoy, love and respect our special place and leave no trace.
