If you are drawn to the water then there is wind surfing, surfing and all manner of water sports at your fingertips! We are close to some of the best surfing beaches in England including Croyde and Bude.
The Tarka trail is 32miles of traffic free track for walking and cycling which passes through Bideford http://www.sustrans.org.uk/ncn/map/route/tarka-trail .
We are also close to Exmoor and Dartmoor with associated walking and horse riding.
Bideford town, with its many independent shops is 5mins away and there is also Affinity outlets (formally Atlantic Village) https://affinityoutlets.com/devon/stores/ for discount shopping.
There are of course many fantastic little and not so little Pubs, restaurants and takeaways in Bideford and the surrounding areas.
